BLACK BELT TRAINING

Black Belts are required to lead Six Sigma projects. This certification program is an intensive 4-week course that spreads out over several months. This program combines classroom time with concurrent in the field Six Sigma project execution.  Six Sigma Black Belt candidates are change agents and technical leaders who have developed a high proficiency in Six Sigma philosophies, concepts and tools, and understand how these two powerful methodologies augment each other.  They are the “doers” in implementing Six Sigma strategies who lead and manage all aspects of the improvement projects.  The Black Belts will learn how to coach the Green Belts effectively. Becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt is an outstanding investment in your personal and professional development. The Figure below lists important roles the Six Sigma Black Belt plays in the organization.
